The use of TeXtreme® Spread Tow fiber reinforcements in the shell of the new TLD D4 Compsite helmet helped reduce the weight of the full-face helmet by nearly 50 grams without sacrificing strength.
Despite the weight reduction, we were able to strategically add EPS to increase strength and durability.

The integrated MIPS (multi-directional impact protection system) brain protection system is designed to reduce rotational motion transmitted to the brain from oblique impacts to the head.

For comfort, the D4 Comp directs cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the center of the polymer and side mesh to keep your head cooler during the ride.
The D4 is completed with lightweight titanium D-rings, a collarbone suspension system, and XT2 3D cheek guards with quick release and X-Static washable liner.
