Description

All Box handlebars are designed and made using our Oversized Technology. Handlebars have a dual purpose because they contribute to both the stiffness of the handlebars and the pedaling. By strategically varying wall thicknesses and tube diameters, we have moved material from low-load zones to high-load zones. This greatly minimized twisting and contributed to responsiveness. At the same time, we have increased the stiffness of the pedals by stopping the phenomenon of "lifting." There is no point in pushing hard on your pedals if you cannot pull yourself up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost through steering flex and the consequences can lead to poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box's other Oversized components, you experience improved response and reduced deceleration.

Key Differences: This particular handlebar is tailored for racers with larger sizes. Titanium allows us to explore the structural rigidity of steel, but without the compromise in weight. It is a solution as exotic as carbon fiber, but gives a slightly different result for the demanding racer. Carbon contributes a more aggressive steering response, while titanium feels very sensitive but more refined.
