Inner tubes

What size inner tube do I need?
The size of the inner tube should match the size of the tire you are using. This uses the diameter, 20-inch common size outer tire. The thickness of the tire will be between 1 1/8 and 1.75. As an example, on the outer tire it says 20 x 1 3/8 then you need between an inner tube with diameter 20 inches and tire width 1 3/8. 
But if you have a cruiser, then you will need a 24 inch with tire width 1.75.

When you go to replace the tires on your BMX, it is definitely a good idea to look at the condition of the outer tire itself. This is because over time, you will experience reduced grip and increased chances of punctures. If you are thinking about purchasing new tires, check out our collection of outer tubes.
